Our volunteers make a difference

 

Kids Corner is staffed entirely by volunteers, who maintain day-to-day store operations. Without our talented and dedicated crew, Kids Corner would not be able to offer clean, quality merchandise at affordable prices. Since all profits from the store are granted back to the community, a volunteer staff ensures that the maximum funding possible is available for grants to programs that serve children of all ages across Carbon County.

 

Our volunteers have fun! They sort and merchandise clothing, toys and books, and they’re constantly thinking of new ways to display all that the store has to offer. Our seasonal front window displays are the handiwork of volunteers, and Kids Corner is a hub of activity around holidays in Red Lodge.

 

Volunteers truly are the backbone of all that Kids Corner does. We are always looking for additional volunteers. No experience is necessary, the schedule is flexible (work as little or as much as you like) and training is provided. Many great friendships have been forged among the volunteers at Kids Corner, and we celebrate together at an annual luncheon as well as special occasions throughout the year.
